Asha Murali is a seasoned insurance professional with more than 30 years of experience in the industry, spanning Actuarial, Risk Management, Products, Investments, and Operations. She currently works as an Independent Consultant, drawing on her extensive background that includes leading the Actuarial practice at a consultancy and serving as Chief Actuary and Appointed Actuary at PNB MetLife Insurance Company and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company. ​

A Fellow of both the Institute of Actuaries of India and the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK, Asha plays an active role in shaping the profession. She is the Honorary Secretary of the Council of the Institute of Actuaries of India and Chair of its Professionalism and Ethics Committee.​
