Udbhav Gupta has around 20 years of industry experience across consultancy and direct life insurers.  He currently leads the Growth Verticals at Axis Max Life Insurance and is responsible for driving a unified organisation approach to multiple business lines such as Protection, Health, Retirement, Affluent, Rural and International Business.  ​

His mandate involves focusing on growth in top-line revenue while maintaining a healthy and sustainable portfolio.  He works closely with sales leaders, underwriting, products and operations teams, while also overseeing reinsurance strategy.  ​

He holds Fellowship from IAI and IFoA and is a firm promoter of actuaries taking on a leading role in business.​
