In a career spanning over four decades in insurance and reinsurance K S Gopalakrishnan has held various positions including that of CEO and Independent Director on the Boards.

He has been a regular contributor to the Indian actuarial profession for almost thirty years serving in various volunteer roles including that of Council member, chairperson and member of various committees/advisory groups/task forces. He is a fellow member of the IAI.
