Ankit Nanda, FSA, MAAA, FCA, is a Manager in Actuarial Advisory Services at Optum, based in Gurugram, India, where he leads a team supporting U.S. healthcare clients.​

He brings nearly 13 years of experience across reinsurance, employer stop loss, managed care, and consulting. He holds an M.S. in Mathematical Finance from Boston University. ​

Ankit serves on multiple committees of the American Academy of Actuaries and working parties of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, and is a member of the Society of Actuaries India Committee. He is the SOA’s representative to the International Actuarial Association Health Forum for 2026–2028. His published work spans employer stop loss, reinsurance capital, cell and gene therapies, and value‑based pharmacy care.​
