Ajay Kumar Srivastava, an experienced actuary with over three and half decades of experience in the life insurance industry, currently serving as Appointed Actuary and Executive Director (Actuarial) at LIC of India. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics (Honours) and an MBA in Marketing.  Professional degrees include Fellow of Institute of Actuaries of India, Fellow of Institute of Actuaries (UK), and Fellow of Insurance Institute of India.

Joined LIC of India in 1990 as an 18th batch Direct Recruit Officer. Rich and diversified experience in areas that include Actuarial Valuation, Product designing and pricing, Enterprise Risk Management, Life Reinsurance, Employee Benefits, Personnel & Industrial Relations, Marketing etc.and leadership positions across the work areas. Publications include "Foundation of Actuarial Science" and "Mathematical Basis of Life Assurance" for the Insurance Institute of India.
