Section C: Important Points to Note

  • GCA Conference fee includes admission to all sessions, lunches, coffee breaks, registration materials, entrance to Actuarial Gala function and Awards 2020 & 75 years celebration.
  • Registered Accompanying person is entitled to the participation in Actuarial Gala Function & Awards 2020 & 75 years celebration only.
  • There is an option to register only for 75 years celebration & Actuarial Gala Function & Awards 2020 scheduled on 17thFebruary, 2020 which includes Platinum Jubilee celebrations of the Indian Actuarial Profession.
  • Registration will be confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. Invoice Receipt of your registration will be sent via email from gca@actuariesindia.org. All Bookings made under the Early Bird Discount offer must be submitted and paid for, on or in advance of the Early Bird Discount deadline date, to qualify for that rate.
  • Confidentiality of your email ids and contact details are protected i.e., will not be shared with any external agency/organization.
  • If you had made an unsuccessful online payment, the amount debited from your account will be reverted back to the same account in 8 – 10 working days.
  • For IAI members the membership as on date of registration must be active.
  • CPD credits: IAI Members can claim maximum of 12 hrs Technical CPD (Day 2 attendance at 4.00 pm is compulsory for claiming CPD).
    • Professionalism – 6 hrs if one attends for two days.
    • Technical – 6hrs if one attends for two days and one would need to declare any one of the practice areas as per APS9 ver 3 at the time of registration.
    • If one attends for one day only- Professionalism and Technical – 3 hrs each and one would need to declare one of the practice area as per APS9 ver 3 at time of registration.

Section D: Registration Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • If, for any reason, the Conference, or any part thereof, is prevented from being held, or the Event Venue becomes unavailable, the Organizer may cancel or postpone the Conference. In such event, the Organizer shall not be responsible for delays, damage, loss, increased costs, or other unfavorable conditions arising by virtue thereof, and the delegates waives all or any claims for loss, expense or damage against the Organizer arising there from.
  • Cancellations of a confirmed seat must be notified in writing by email. The fees will not be refunded, but a colleague, falling in the same category, can attend in your place.  In case you are unable to attend the event, the amount cannot be refunded. 
  • The IAI reserves the right to deny entry to any person whether IAI member or others as it deems fit without disclosing the reasons for denial and in this regard the decision by the Chairperson of the GCA Organising Group along with President of IAI will be final.  Chairperson of the GCA Organising Group along with President of IAI reserves the right to stop registration before the closing date.
